【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoversgeneralrequirementscommontowroughtpreciousmetalelectricalcontactalloyproductsintheformofsheet,strip,wire,androd.Unlessotherwisespecifiedinthepurchaseorderorinanindividualspecification,thesegeneralrequirementsshallapplytowroughtelectricalcontactmaterialswhereindicatedintheapplicableproductspecificationsissuedbyASTM.Incaseofconflict,therequirementsonthepurchaseorder,theindividualspecification,andthisgeneralspecificationshallprevailinthesequencenamed.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Themetricequivalentsofinch-poundunitsmaybeapproximate.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.ItistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtobecomefamiliarwithallhazardsincludingthoseidentifiedintheappropriateMaterialSafetyDataSheet(MSDS)forthisproduct/materialasprovidedbythemanufacturer,toestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpractices,anddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
