【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesatestmethodandthecorrespondingstrengthrequirementsforcut-tingattachmentguardsofportablehand-heldcom-bustionenginebrush-cutters,foruseprimarilyinforestry,andgrass-trimmers,totesttheirsafetyinpracticaluse.Thisensuressafetyfortheoperatorbeingprotectedfromthrownobjectsanduninten-tionalcontactswiththecuttingattachment.Anotheraspectofsafetywhendesigningacuttingattachmentguardisitsdimensions:requireddimen-sionsaregiveninISO7918.NOTE1ThepresenteditionisISO7918:1985andcoversonlycircularsaw-bladeguardstobrush-saws,butitisan-ticipatedthattheneweditionwillcovercuttingattachmentguarddimensionsforportablebrush-cutters,brush-sawsandgrass-trimmers.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotapplytocuttingattachmentguardsforlawn-trimmers,whicharedealtwithinISO10518[1].
