【摘要】:Thistestmethodcanbeusedforacceptancetestingofcommercialshipmentsbutcomparisonsshouldbemadewithcautionbecauseestimatesofbetween-laboratoryprecisionareincomplete.5.1.1Iftherearedifferencesofpracticalsignificancebetweenreportedtestresultsfortwolaboratories(ormore),comparativetestsshouldbeperformedtodetermineifthereisastatisticalbiasbetweenthem,usingcompetentstatisticalassistance.Asaminimum,usesamplesforsuchcomparativeteststhatareashomogeneousaspossible,drawnfromthesamelotofmaterialasthesamplesthatresultedindisparateresultsduringinitialtesting,andrandomlyassignedinequalnumberstoeachlaboratory.Thetestresultsfromthelaboratoriesinvolvedshouldbecomparedusingastatisticaltestforunpaireddata,ataprobabilitylevelchosenpriortothetestingseries.Ifbiasisfound,eitheritscausemustbefoundandcorrected,orfuturetestresultsforthatmaterialmustbeadjustedinconsiderationoftheknownbias.Elongationisanindicationoftheabilityofafibertoabsorbenergy.Theelongationoftextilematerialsmustbegreatenoughtowithstandstrainsexperiencedinprocessingandenduse,andtoabsorbtheenergiesofappliedforcesrepeatedly.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthebreakingstrengthandelongationoftextilewebbing,tapeandbraidedmaterialsusingasplit-drumtypespecimenclamp.1.2Thistestmethodislimitedtomaterialswithamaximumwidthof90mm(3.5in.)andamaximumbreakingstrengthofnomorethan89000N(20000lb).1.3ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorU.S.Customaryunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthetext,theU.S.Customaryunitsaregiveninparentheses.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
