【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversselectionandinstallationofexpandedmetalfencesystemsforapplicationsonneworretrofitfencesforcommercial,industrial,governmentalorinstitutionalfacilitiesasapplicabletohomelandsecurity,orwherethepossibilityofmalevolentincursionissignificant.Seefortypicalexamplesofexpandedmetalfenceapplications.Thistypeoffencesystemisnotrecommendedforresidentialorpublicrecreationalfacilitiessuchaspools,schools,andkindergartens.1.2Thisspecificationisintendedtoguidethoseresponsiblefororconcernedwiththedesignandinstallationofanexpandedmetalfencesystemcapableofdenyingordelayingunwantedaccessintooroutofanarea.1.3Norecommendationismadeorimpliedhereastothemeritsoftheproductfromanyparticularmanufacturer.Choiceofcomponentselectionfortheexpandedmetalsystemshouldbemadebythewriteroftheprojectspecificationbasedontheirownperceptionoftheproductsmeritandtheconsequenceofamalevolentincursion.1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Anyvaluesgiveninbracketsareforinformationonly.Thisspecificationdoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyandsecurityconcerns,ifany,associatedwithhomelandsecurity.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishtherequiredandappropriatelevelofsecurity.
