【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversreinforcedarch-shapedconcretepipetobeusedfortheconveyanceofsewage,industrialwastes,stormwater,andfortheconstructionofculverts.1.2Thisspecificationistheinch-poundcompaniontoC506M;therefore,noSIequivalentsarepresentedinthespecification.Note18212;Thisspecificationisamanufacturingandpurchasespecificationonly,anddoesnotincluderequirementsforbedding,backfill,ortherelationshipbetweenfieldloadconditionandthestrengthclassificationofpipe.However,experiencehasshownthatthesuccessfulperformanceofthisproductdependsupontheproperselectionoftheclassofpipe,typeofbeddingandbackfill,andcarethattheinstallationconformstotheconstructionspecifications.Theownerofthereinforcedconcretepipespecifiedhereiniscautionedthathemustcorrelatethefieldrequirementswiththeclassofpipespecifiedandprovideinspectionattheconstructionsite.
